W3Teams.com is an information service developed and hosted by Ablesoft Solutions, Inc. ('ASI'). W3Teams provides users the ability to add and edit information for teams, clubs, and organizations ('Team'). This Privacy Policy applies to the W3Teams website and includes all its products and services. Our Internet Privacy Policy is our commitment to protect your privacy online.
We store and use information from this site as directed by this policy and we do not sell, share, or rent this information to others in any way that we have not mentioned in this statement.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
- Personally identifiable information will only be collected when you fill out a form.
- When you visit W3Teams, we may log tracking information such as your browser type, the type of operating system you use, IP address, referring/exiting pages, and pages you visited on our site. None of this information identifies you personally; we use this information to make our sites more useable to you, your league and your schools.
- We may use 'cookies' to store some user information. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. For example, cookies allow us to keep track of your user name so you don't have to re-enter that information each time you log onto W3Teams.
HOW YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE USED
ASI uses personally identifiable information in a limited number of ways. We use the information to fulfill requests for our services. If you request additional information about W3Teams, we will use the information to contact you. We also use the information you provide to send you e-mail and mail regarding W3Teams product information, user customer support information and to keep you, your league and your school up to date on the latest information about W3Teams and other services.
If you have supplied any personally identifiable information, we will not sell, rent, swap, or authorize any third party to use any information that specifically identifies you, without your permission.
AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTENT
The following, have the ability to add and edit Team content:
ASI personnel have the ability to add and edit Team content but have no duty or responsibility to do so. Additionally, there is no such duty or requirement to monitor or control Team content. The ultimate responsibility for Team content falls on the Account Administrator and designees.
Account Administrator: The Account Administrator is the person or party that initiates the process of adding one or more Teams to W3Teams.com. The Account Administrator may edit Team content for any Team within their account. In some cases, a school’s Athletic Director or designee will serve as Account Administrator. In other cases, a coach or parent may establish a single Team and serve this role, among others. The Account Administrator has a duty to comply with the terms of this document and shares the responsibility of monitoring Team content for his Teams. He has the ability and duty to remove access for Team Administrators, Editors, and Correspondents that fail to comply with the terms of this document.
Team Administrator: Typically the coach, the Team Administrator has full control over Team Content, including the ability to designate Team Editors and Team Correspondents. The Team Administrator has a duty to comply with the terms of this document and shares the responsibility of monitoring Team content for his Team. He has the ability and duty to remove access for Editors and Correspondents that fail to comply with the terms of this document.
Team Editor: The Team Editor may add or edit any Team Content, but may not add or remove other Team Editors or Team Correspondents. The Team Editor has a duty to comply with the terms of this document.
Team Correspondent: The Team Correspondent may add or edit Team photos, captions, and articles associated with the Team or its games or events. The Team Correspondent has a duty to comply with the terms of this document.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
As with all information collected by ASI, we will not sell, rent, swap, or authorize any third party to use your personal information, without advance permission. SSL is implemented within W3Teams to protect personal information and it is not otherwise displayed on the Internet. Our User database sits behind a DMZ and is not accessible via the Internet.
Photographs may be uploaded to W3Teams. A specific athletic event for a specific Team must be chosen for upload. Captions or other comments are permitted, so student names may be used or associated with photographs. Account and Team Administrators are responsible for monitoring their own content and to verify all photographs as appropriate for display.
PROTECTION OF YOUR DATA
The ASI databases sit behind a DMZ and are not accessible via the Internet. ASI data are backed up each day and are stored securely. Our hardware is housed in a secured, protected facility. Passwords are secured in the secure database and are only issued by email to the email address provided during registration.
PASSWORDS
The best security for your W3Teams data is your password. Choose a password that only you know and do not post it on your monitor. If you forget your password, you may visit our home page to request an email be sent, with your password. Additionally, you may call us so you can answer your security question. We urge you to keep your password in a safe place and not to divulge it to anyone. Also remember to sign off your account and close your browser window when you have finished with your visit or use of W3Teams services. This ensures that others cannot access your information.
OUR E-MAIL POLICY
Account related e-mail: We will occasionally send you e-mails relating to your account. These may include renewal/expiration notices, newsletters, promotions, and billing notifications. You can choose not to receive promotional messages by visiting your 'My Account' page from W3Teams.
